Zimbabwe announce squads for India series

Zimbabwe Cricket announced the One-Day International and Twenty20 International squads that will take on India soon. As announced earlier, the revamped team will be led by Graeme Cremer and will have Makhaya Ntini as the interim coach.
Legspinner Cremer who had missed the World T20 due to an injury replaced Hamilton Masakadza who had a forgettable outing in India as the skipper. Masakadza, however, is a part of both the squads that will take on India.
Fast bowler Tinashe Panyangara and all-rounder Ryan Burl were not selected after they picked up injuries during the training camp in Bulawayo. Panyangara had pain in his right lower back during a training session and didn't feature in the two practice games. He has now been referred to a neurologist for further assessment.
Burl injured his right knee during a Rugby game and an x-ray has confirmed tears in his ligaments, following which he will consult a knee specialist.
